The business community allows companies to add functionality required for their industry and company. Each company has a voice on changes, additions, and functionality of the HIATLANTIS application. How this works In the spirit of Open Source, HIATLANTIS allows companies to request changes to an application. Companies do not need to provide resources to the application, but may if they wish. Every company gets a say and every company makes a difference. Although HIATLANTIS is a complete solution, there is always room for change. Starting in the 1980's and continuing into the 21st Century, HIATLANTIS will be growing it's system as required and as needed for each of you. Requests Requests are queued and then the community decides on the priority of each request. Each request is weighed and as in any development project prioritized by the needs of the entire business community. Requests that are only applicable to a specific business and its requirements are lower priorities and may require custom programming. I need (POS) Point of Sale Point of Sale has been considered for many years. Creating a Point of Sale system within HIATLANTIS would not be difficult, but would be dependent on what the input from the business community is. Currently several companies use HIATLANTIS as part of a POS system, but requires manual invoicing. A module only needs to be created for a cash drawer and scanning products. This is something that will be considered when there are enough requests to warrant the effort. Working with our Solution Providers and Partners Our partners will walk you through the process of setting up HIATLANTIS. Setting up a supply chain management system is not as simple as it seems. There are many processes in this including identifying your current business processes; either manual or automated. A partner can assist you through this process and allow you to complete your conversion and/or implementation of HIATLANTIS. What's HIATLANTIS written in HIATLANTIS uses a SQL database, PHP, JAVA and C++. |
