The Digital
Dashboard terminology applies to the method in which ATLANTIS displays
information to each member in your company. Each Dashboard of course
is different depending on it's function. You will also find mini
dashboards located in the maintenance areas of the application,
which in effect allow modification of records by an administrator.
The system
administrator at your company also has the ability to change the
color schemes of your application to provide an intergraded look
into your application with your current intranet pages.
|
| For
example, looking at the Sales Rep Dashboard we notice that there are
many different areas of operation that occur, along with alerts from
credit, accounting and the Rep's manager, the Rep has full control
of everything at their fingertips! This allows the Rep to effectively
manage their time without having to follow-up with each person in
different departments to keep track of specific activities outside
of the dashboard/sales activity. |
|
 |
For
example, a notification from the Credit Department is displayed on
the alert section of the dashboard (if the company is of course running
the plugin for that department), which tells the Sales Rep many different
actions that can take place. Actions such as receiving a credit report,
receiving data from the vendors used as references, or an approval
having been made with that department for the customer. There could
also be information from the Fulfillment department detailing the
delivery of orders and backordered items. The Sales Manager's Dashboard
displays the data in consolidated format and has the ability to drill
down the details if required.
Funnel
information, if using the Funnel plugin, allows the sales representative
to see at a glance what the potential customer may be purchasing
or is planning on purchasing. This information is paramount to a
successful contact with your customer. Having a Rep contacting many
different companies is a problem unless your data is warehoused
in a fashion that allows a concise view in the dashboard concept.
